    The modem will install using the default driver provided by Windows

    Note: The modem will initially install using the default driver provided by Windows Vista. Our enhanced driver is available by following the instructions below:
    1. Download the file to a temporary location on your computer's hard disk drive.
    2. Double-click the file and follow the USRobotics Modem Installation Wizard to update modem driver.

    Note: USRobotics Internet Call Notification, Control Center, and BVRP PhoneTools are not supported on a 64-bit operating system.
    1. Download the 563002.zip file to a temporary location on your computer's hard drive.
    2. To be recognized by Windows, the content of this file must be extracted onto a floppy disk or a folder with an utility like winzip
    3. When prompted by Windows, direct the installation to the temporary location in order to complete the installation.

    Updating your V.92 modem's Firmware will ensure optimal compatibility with your ISP and will improve your modem's performance.

    There are two ways to update your V.92 modem. To update your V.92 modem, select one of the following options:

    ControlCenter:
    This product's Installation CD-ROM should have ControlCenter on it. If you do not have ControlCenter on your Installation CD-ROM, you can download it below. Use the Instant Update utility in ControlCenter once installed.
    Stand alone upgrader Firmware version 11.16.63:
    To update your V.92 modem via the stand alone upgrader, simply download the upgrader below, run the .exe file, and follow the on-screen instructions.
