Modemulator Windows GUI

The Modemulator Graphical User Interface (GUI) is a software application that runs on a computer having a Windows operating system to make configuring and updating Modemulators much faster and easier than using the Modemulator's native command-line interface (CLI).

NOTE: USRobotics is providing this software as-is, and is currently offering only limited support.

1. Download the 3516-emu-GUI.zip file to a temporary location on your computer's hard disk drive.
2. Extract the contents of the file to a temporary location on your hard drive.
3. Follow the install instructions in the Modemulator GUI User Guide to complete the installation.

IMPORTANT: Before attempting to flash Modemulator code version 1.0.04 (or later), it is necessary to first flash the boot loader firmware. Once the boot loader has been flashed, any version of firmware can be loaded.

WARNING: Attempting to flash version 1.0.04 into a Modemulator which doesn't have the boot loader will result in the checksum failing, and the Modemulator remaining in boot code containing version 1.0.01. Flashing the boot loader will fix the issue.

1. Download the following files to a temporary location on your computer's hard drive.
2. Do NOT extract the contents of the zip file
3. Refer to instructions in the Modemulator Installation Guide to install the bin file
4. Refer to instructions in the Modemulator Installation Guide to install the zip file
5. Refer to instructions in the Modemulator User Guide to install the boot loader firmware and the 1.0.04 hex file
