Product should install with the inbuilt drivers with up to date Windows Operating Systems.
- Download the 4524-Windows-Drivers.zip file to a temporary location on your computer's hard drive.
- Extract the contents of the file to a temporary location on your hard drive.
- Double-click the exe file in Windows Explorer and follow the on-screen instructions. Agree to the End-User License Agreement and continue with the install.
- Click Finish.
- Plug in the USB TAP, a reboot may be needed
NOTE: After installation there should be 2 new Ethernet interfaces listed in Control Panel -> Network and Sharing.

Mac OS X 10.10.x (Yosemite), 10.11.x (El Capitan) & 10.12.x (Sierra), OS X 10.14.x (Mojave) Modem Drivers |
Do not attach the TAP during the driver installation.
- Download the file to a temporary location on your computer's hard drive.
- Extract the contents of the file.
- Double click on the LAN78xx 1.0.4.pkg to start the installation.
- Click continue and agree to the licence agreement and continue.
- On prompt provide your administrator account password.
- Wait for the installation to finish. This may take a few minutes.
- You will see the Installation was successful message once the installation is completed. Click Close to exit.
- The driver should be installed to the /Library/Extensions folder as LAN7800.kext on successfull installation.
- Plug in the USB TAP

Linux Drivers |
Linux kernel versions 4.3 and above will have the proper driver (lan78xx.ko) built into the kernel.
- Download the 4524-Linux-Drivers.zip file to a temporary location on your computer's hard drive.
- Extract the contents of the file to a temporary location on your hard drive.
- Follow the instructions in the ReadMe.PDF.
