When the early 802.11g (54 Mbps) products are working with the 802.11b (11 Mbps) products, a dramatic fall in the entire network performance occurs - often dragging down the 54 Mbps products to 11 Mbps throughput. USRobotics has designed a new software upgrade to be very efficient working in these mixed wireless environments giving customers the best possible performance.

256 bit Encryption – The full product range provides a strong barrier against hackers who want to interfere with your data. USRobotics products are also fully backward compatible with basic 802.11b products that only use 64 and 128 bit encryption!

Compatibility is still assured

The new software is fully compatible with the existing US Robotics 22 Mbps Wireless products. This software still retains its compatibility with 802.11b and 802.11g networks running at 11 Mbps.
